The purpose of our book club is to facilitate social connection and engagement through reading. This group is a place of communication and to discuss the book we are reading. Anyone is welcome to join.

Obtaining your book:
Free ebooks or audiobook can be downloaded through Hoopla through the Lennox & Addington Library. To sign up for an account and access the ebook, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Go to hoopladigital.com on a computer and sign up for an account by clicking “Get Started Today”.
Step 2: Fill in your email address and create a password.
Step 3: Search and select County of Lennox & Addington Libraries. Then scroll down and click ‘Next.’
Step 4: Enter your library card number and pin. Click the check box to agree. Then click “Sign Me Up.” If you do not have a library card, or do not remember your pin, call 613-354-4883 ext. 0. Or visit the library website to get your electronic library card: https://www.lennox-addington.on.ca/library-services/register-online
You may have to confirm your email address before logging in. To do this, click on the link in the email hoopla sent to your email account. Then login with your email address and password.
Step 5: Click the magnifying glass in the top left of the screen. Type the name of your chosen book into the search box. Press “Enter” on your keyboard. Click on the audio book or ebook copy of your book of choice,
Step 6: Click “Borrow.”
Step 7: Click “Borrow Title” to confirm.
Step 8: Click “Read” to read the book!
You can also read the ebook on a tablet or phone. To do this, download the Hoopla app and login using your email and password. Click on your borrowed copy of chosen book to read.
