What is Hospice Lennox & Addington?

Hospice Lennox and Addington is a registered non-profit organization that provides palliative care to those in our community who are diagnosed with a terminal illness. Our trained volunteers provide hours of care and compassion at no expense to the client. These services can be provided in the home, the hospital, or in a nursing care facility. We also provide one-on-one or group bereavement support for those who have recently experienced a loss.

Hospice Lennox & Addington is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and run by two employees, the Executive Director and Service Coordinator.

Referrals to the program can be made by anyone, including family, friends and/or health care professionals.

Hospice Lennox & Addington is partially funded by the Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) but relies heavily on personal donations, memorials, and our own fundraising projects to support our services.
